One-Day Sangha Gathering
The gathering will start on Saturday, October 17th at 10am and will end at 6pm.
This first gathering is open to those who have already sat with Igor Kufayev. The following gatherings will be open to everyone who is new to this work and would like to explore it.
Sangha Gatherings are held by Ruben and Linda, dedicated students of Igor Kufayev, on his behalf. The day is carried by his recorded darshans and guided meditations, and by the field of practice we share.
Please note, this is a non–residential gathering.
About this Gathering
Every six to eight weeks, we gather as a Sangha in Freiburg for a full day of shared practice. We sit together, share from our lives and practice, eat a meal, and spend part of the afternoon with one or two of Igor’s recordings, gathered around a single theme.
The gatherings are a space for practice, reflection and genuine encounter within the Sangha, and a way to tend the inner flame together.
A Sangha Gathering is an independent event of the Freiburg Sangha and not an immersion with Igor Kufayev. Igor is not present in person; Ruben and Linda hold the space, and the day is carried by his recordings. The gathering is held in German, and Igor’s recordings are shown with subtitles.
Meals
A vegetarian Ayurvedic lunch, tea and small snacks are included in the program fee. The meal is prepared with care by our community team and shared together, followed by time to walk and rest. Cushions, blankets and yoga mats are available in the room. Please bring your own thermos flask.

During the gathering, we will be following this schedule:
10:00 am – 11:10 pm: Welcoming Circle
11:10 am – 11:40 pm: Gentle yoga and breath, led by Ruben
11:40 am – 1:00 pm: Meditation
1:00 – 3:00 pm: Lunch and rest
3:00 – 4:00 pm: Darshan (recording with subtitles)
4:00 – 4:15 pm: Reflection and questions
4:15 – 5:15 pm: Meditation
5:15 – 5:45 pm: Closing Circle
5:45 – 6:00 pm: Tea and prasād
Theme of the Day
The theme of the day is chosen from Igor Kufayev’s darshans and announced in our newsletter before each gathering.
Transport to the Venue
Freiburg Hauptbahnhof is well connected by train and tram, and the venue is a short ride away. Parking nearby is limited, so we warmly recommend public transport or a bicycle. The nearest airport is EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (airport code: BSL), approximately 70km from the venue.

Price & Payment
The program fee covers the full day, including lunch: €45 per person.
You may pay online when booking, or in cash on the day. Places are limited to 25. Registration is open until the day of the gathering, Saturday, October 17th.
